Q. How many outfits can I wear for my model & portrait session?
A. As many as you wish as time allows. We recommend outfits per hour, but please bring more and we can recommend which may suit you best. We can recommend a theme and outfits for the session and hair and makeup should be complimentary with all outfits
Q. I would love to have a photo session with my girl friend who is also a model, can a portrait session be shared?
A. Yes we do offer group portrait sessions, the time can be shared at no additional cost, the edited photos are also shared. Additional edited photos can be purchased in addition to the package chosen.
Q. Where are you located for studio photo sessions?
A. We are located in the NW in Calgary, we will provide our private home studio location upon booking.
Q. I am a new model, do you offer coaching and posing tips?
A. We work with both new and experienced models, and would love to provide you with guidance, including posing and tips on what to look out for as a model. Our years of experience in the fashion and modeling industry are a great resource.
Q. I just signed with a model agency and they want me to pay for a 500$ portfolio with them, does a modeling agency accept your photos for portfolio instead?
Model agencies are a great resource for starting models, however their business model includes signing up new models and getting a start up fee, and may not be upfront. We will provide you with a photo session and set of images that qualify and meet the standard for agencies, with the understanding that you may be asked from your agency for different outfits or looks from more than one photo session. Our photos have been used for years and we have worked directly with several model agencies for models, and our photos make part of many model portfolios you may have seen already without knowing. If you meet us prior to signing with an agency, we can offer our honest recommendations on how to best start your modeling career along with our agency recommendations, and can provide you with invaluable information and experience for you.
Q. I am a teen model. Do you work with models under 18?
A. As a minor, we require a model release form and consent from your parents or guardian for booking a photo session, we also require your parents to be with you for your model photo session, or a signed release from your parents / guardian to shoot unchaperoned. Our clients safety is of upmost importance.
Q. Do I need to be a model to book a model, portrait or glamour photo session with you?
A. Definitely not! Most of our clients simply want beautiful and stunning portraits of themselves in a themed photo session. We offer photo session from dating profiles to glamour to anyone asking. We offer similar posing tips to non-models to make you look at your best for your portrait photo session.
Q. Do you have model casting calls for paid model photo sessions? How do I apply?
A. Our photography business gets many commercial clients who contract us, and we may do a casting calls for a paid model photo session as we have relationships with hundreds of models in the industry. We offer preference to models who have booked or worked with us with positive experiences. We post these casting calls on our Instagram stories, or if our client needs specific look for their campaign we may message our models who meet their specifications. please follow us on Instagram and keep an eye for model casting calls.
